Why we built LaunchOrbit: a more memorable way to discover products.
Product launches are everywhere. The hard part is giving people a reason to remember yours.
Every day, founders share new products across launch platforms, social feeds, newsletters, and private communities. This is great for builders, but it creates a familiar problem: a launch can be exciting in the moment and almost impossible to find again a week later.
Discovery should feel like exploration
Most product directories are built like lists. That makes them efficient, but not especially memorable. We wanted to try something different: a shared, interactive canvas where products have a place, can be explored visually, and remain part of a living collection of ideas.
That became LaunchOrbit. Founders can publish a product, add a website logo or custom pixel art, and place it on a public board. Visitors can zoom around the canvas, discover unfamiliar projects, and follow each launch back to its home.
A launch is more than a link
A product page tells people what something is. A launch gives it context. It says: this is being built now, here is the person behind it, and here are other ideas being created alongside it.
LaunchOrbit is designed around that sense of context. The board changes as new products arrive, community support affects ranking, and every launch has a dedicated page with a direct link to the product. The result is a discovery experience that feels closer to wandering through a small digital neighborhood than scrolling through another feed.
Built for makers building in public
We built LaunchOrbit for indie hackers, designers, developers, and startup teams who want their work to be seen without turning every launch into a sales pitch. You do not need a polished campaign or a large audience to start. You need a product, a clear description, and a place in the orbit.
